Description
There are connectors available to attach multibin shells to tiles, but they use the “large holes” which makes it impossible to align the tiles properly for my use case.
So I designed this solution that uses the peg holes instead. The tiles are screwed onto the shell walls, giving the bins much more stability and unlocking a ton of extra possibilities.
I also created a spacer and a longer bolt to mount the tiles with a 6.25 mm offset, though I haven’t used this myself.
Print at 0.2 mm layer height, no supports needed.
Take the bin-to-tile parts in the correct length.
Insert the screws and click the part into the shell.
Place the tile on top.
Use a T20 screwdriver to tighten the screws (turn counter-clockwise).
Don’t fully tighten one screw at a time — instead, go around in a circle and tighten each gradually.
