Modern Slim Key Tag

Never lose your keys again with this key tag! It's big enough to be noticed but slim enough to not be a problem. Prints in no time at all, even with filament change!

There are 2 versions:

• Blank - a blank version for easy customization
• Printables - a Printables themed one to show your appreciation for Printables

Print Settings

• Layer height: 0.2mm or less
• Material: whatever you would like, just use your slicer's default settings for that material
• No support or brim/raft is necessary

Manual Color Change

This model is designed to be simple and not require the use of an MMU, AMS, or other color changer. Instead just insert a manual color change at the right layer. The right layer may differ based on your chosen layer height or model scaling.

For 0.2mm layer height at 100% scale, insert a color change at height 0.6mm. 

Customization

You are free to modify the model to add your own text, logo, whatever.

It's easy to do from PrusaSlicer. Just right click the model, scroll down to “Add negative volume”, and select an option. Make sure your cut is far enough down to expose the base color. For the standard 0.2mm layer height, the base color should only go to 0.4mm (2 layers). This means your negative volume needs to remove 1.6mm of the print from the top.

For example, “Add negative volume” → “Text”. Make sure the depth is set to 1.6mm and the operation is “Cut”. This will expose the base layer.

License

You may not share this model without providing credit. You may not sell the file or prints (giving them away is fine). Remixing is allowed but provide credit and share under the same license. If you'd like a commercial license please send me a message.
