Description
Note: I specially designed this to lock in place using old springs that you've likely got lying around from replacing weak print-bed springs, or the spring near your extruder knob. Smaller springs can be used (I'm using a combination of each).
Simply print, and snip snip the "lock" piece until it slides into place without any pushing (typically just the "end" triangle-ish piece that might need a hairline trimming). I'm printing this with a 0.8mm nozzle, so honestly, if you're using something smaller than that, you'll end up with more refined sizing than me anyway! :)
To remove the drive, insert something small into the notch on the left, and slide the lock into the unlocked position, while pulling it out. The spring will work hard to keep it locked.
A Thermaltake Max 1562 is what this is designed for, however, since they're rare, its very likely that this design may end up working in other 2.5" caddy-insert type adapters.
IDEALLY, together, we can source some sort of backplane, and just design the entire 5.25" insert from scratch and just order cheap backplanes to accommodate it. That would be awesome.

Shoutout to the 2 designs that had some remix'd portions taken from them. Definitely set the initial stage so I didn't have to measure as much. Thank you!
Trim the "lock" piece as needed to fit into your print properly.
