Soldering fume extractor - stand with segmented arm to 75mm flexible hose

DIY fumes extractor:
- heavy stand (uses 100x100x25mm metal scrap bought from local ebay like site as ballast)
- articulated segmented arm (Marius design)
- connection to 75mm flexible hose (threaded connection)
- cheap duct fan with a remote

Printed from PETG, mostly default slicer settings (with exception of fuzzy surfaces and supports).

Internal friction surfaces of segmented arm got fuzzy skin added (with parameters 0.075/0.075 or 0.1/0.1 (both worked)). Otherwise segmented arm pieces were too loose. Print test pieces first!

(I was printing whole segmented parts as fuzzy surfaces, too (see one of photos) but that's not needed and makes print time longer - only one internal surface for each connection needs fuzzyness).

What's needed?

• print 1x 75mm-adapter-stand-cover (use “on base plate only” supports)
• 100x100x25mm steel plate to make base heavy (use whatever else heavy you have as a stand filler)
• anything (foam, tape, silicon strips) to make steel plate not moving inside the base
• print 1x 75mm-adapter-stand-bottom
• optional four 10-12x1.5-2mm silicon/rubber feet
• print 1x flexible-75mm-hose-to-tube
• print nozzle and any number of arm segments from https://www.printables.com/model/22486-flexible-segmented-hose-75mm project (nozzle - flexi_75_funnel, segments - flexi_75_segment)
• make sure to use fuzzy skin when printing, for friction fit surfaces (one surface of two connecting surfaces) on nozzle, arm segments and flexible-75mm-hose-to-tube
• 6x M3 or M4 threaded inserts (holes made for ~5.5mm diameter inserts up to 10mm depth) and 6x FHCS bolts
• M3x30mm bolt + nut (+ optional small knobs like from https://www.printables.com/model/272115-knurled-m3-m8-thumbscrews ) for top “stand cover” tightening
• 75mm P2PU spiral ventilation hose (using this one RONDO PUR FUL04 75mm r - https://allegro.pl/oferta/waz-spiralny-wentylacyjny-p2pu-o-srednicy-75mm-1metr-17049145937 )
• 100mm duct fan with adapters - https://www.printables.com/model/1405612-100mm-pipe-to-75mm-flexible-hose-adapter-threaded and out pipe thrown outside a window
