Description
Your printer and filament should be calibrated to ensure scale accuracy for proper fitment. While the center can be secured with a honeycomb joint, those can limit mounting areas so this model avoids needing them by using tight joints and glue to create a single panel. I recommend using a medium or thick gap fill CA glue to assemble the panel and mounting it as a single piece. The mounting holes are sized for M3 socket head screws, except for the fan screws on the right panel which are countersunk M3. All screws will need to be slightly longer to accommodate the Honeycomb panel thickness.
NOTE: As the side panels of the K1 Max are thin acrylic, it is recommended to take care when mounting components to the wall as too much flexing could inadvertently crack them, especially in the panel center. This can be mitigated by supporting the inside of the panel when mounting especially tight fitting honeycomb modules.
