Description
This foot was designed for vintage Lakewood 202 box fans, but you may be able to fit it on other box fans. The included feet clip the fan onto the edge of windowsills. The pictured make was printed in PLA at Draft resolution, though PETG would probably be a better choice for flexibility.
The best variant for most printers is the equal width, no cutouts version. This removes the need for any extra supports and strengthens the foot. Other variants are provided in case the “equal width, no cutouts” version does not work for your fan.
FYI for people looking at printing this, the cutouts are normally to save material when producing via injection molding. For 3D printing the versions with no cutouts are probably best, with a good infill (I'm liking crosshatch lately) replacing the savings from cutouts. Plus should print a bit faster and end up stronger.
