Roborock S7 — Filterr Cleanerr
Update 13.09.2025: Added a retractable claws version.

A simple two-part attachment (nozzle + claws) for a regular vacuum that quickly cleans the Roborock pleated filter — tested on Roborock S7.
The claws match the filter’s rib spacing to lift debris, while the end port of the nozzle immediately sucks dust out, keeping the mess out of the air.
The claws are now retractable for initial cleaning of hair and stuff with claws retracted, and dust scraping with the claws out.
Why it helps
- Claws sized for the filter ribs → quicker, deeper clean
- Scraping the dust is more effective
- Suction at the tip → dust goes straight into the vacuum
- Snap-fit assembly, no glue needed
- Hose side is 32 mm or 35 mm; other diameters on request
- Designed around 0.4 mm printer nozzle
Safety/Use: Clean a removed, dry filter only. Don’t over-press to avoid damaging filter media.

- I managed to clean a round filter for a Concept VP4380 handheld vacuum, aligning the claws along the ribs. They really helped to remove the old dust.
Print Settings
- Material: PLA for the nozzle, PETG for the claws
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm (model tuned for 0.4)
- Layer height: ~0.20 mm
- Perimeters: 2-3
- Infill: 15–30%
- Supports: only for the internal overhang inside the nozzle
- Brim: not needed; optional internal brim 3–5 mm for the nozzle in case of adhesion problems
Orientation
- Nozzle: print upright (suction port up)
- Claws: print as provided: flat, claw tips facing up
- Side grip: print flat, 2 pieces
Assembly
- Press the claws into the narrow space in the nozzle opening — little claw tips facing the middle of the nozzle. If the top layer is not smooth, you may sand it a bit for more smooth movement.
- Press the side grips in the slots, closer to the front. After initial fit, you have to retract the claws slightly to fully press the grips.
- Glue not required.
