Description
A simple headphone hanger I made because I noticed that hanging my headphones over the top of the microphone arm damaged the padding over time.
Since I tend to adjust my microphone position from time to time I wanted a design that could swing to adjust the angle. A simple bolt would have probably been enough but I had some bearings laying around so I used these.
Feel free to use the .step file to accomodate the design to your needs.
The V2 version is simply an update to the mount. The following changes have been made:
No supports are required unless you are printing the v1 version of the mount.
To mount the base on the mic arm itself you will need to partially disassemble the arm and slide it on. Afterwards tighten the screw so the base will no longer slide around on the arm.
The headphone hanger is made up of 2 parts to make it simpler to print. First insert the bearing between the 2 halves and press them together. Then put in the 3 screws (I know that 3 are overkill. You can also use 2 or maybe even just 1) to hold the halves together.
Then just press the bearing onto the base. It's a press fit.
In my case I had to use a heatgun to soften up the parts a little in order to properly press in the bearing and nuts.
