Server Rack Mountable MMU3 Spool holder and Buffer

The “Server Rack Mountable MMU3 Spool Holder and Buffer” is exactly what it sounds like, plus a bit more.

Why this remix was made: 

The goal was to incorporate the MMU3’s features, but space constraints in the server rack used for printing (designed to keep heat vented outside without warming the entire room) made it challenging to fit everything. The “Integrated Spool Holder + Buffer for Core ONE & MMU3” compacted the system, but there was little table space in the rack. The solution? Mounting it to the rails! 

Features:

• Rack mountable: The original “Integrated Spool Holder + Buffer for Core ONE & MMU3” was enhanced with mount points backing the entire model for rack mounting, preventing flex while holding the filament spool. 
• 1KG ball bearing spool holder: The “Prusa Bear 2020 Spool Holder - Quick Change” was added to support the spool and reduce friction when releasing filament (original performance is untested for comparison). 

Recommended printing settings: 

• Material: Print in PETG or stronger; PLA is used at your own risk. Linked parts can be safely printed in PLA.
• Layer height: 0.2 mm.
• Supports: Use snug supports only on the spool center, applying smart fill to avoid difficult cleanup. 
• For an additional spool on the other rail, mirror the model on the X-axis in Prusa Slicer (this also applies to the additional parts from “Integrated Spool Holder + Buffer for Core ONE & MMU3”).
