Description

This is a replacement leadscrew bracket for the buildplate frame on the D-Bot that fits the larger 20mm alti-backlash nuts for the ACME threaded rods. These include the ones that come with the hardware kit being sold on Aliexpress. (Its a fairly standard size nut, the collar is 20mm high and 20mm in diameter, with two mounting holes 28mm apart...)

This does necessarily move the axis out slightly, which may require either modifying the T brackets holding the Z-motor rail to the side rails, or moving the bed support brackets from the inside of the rails to the outside.

The nut mounts to the bracket using two M4 screws, anything 8mm or above should be fine. The threaded holes are 9mm deep, so a 12mm should fit, but barely. Worst case, use a washer.

This also has an opening on the rear for an M4 nut and an opening on the top, which can be used for a center mount on a heavier build plate. I'm not using them on mine right now, but I wanted the option. These are 6mm offset from the rail, to match my M4 replacement brackets here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2489263

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

Prusa Mk2

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2mm

Infill:

50%

Notes:

Infill probably isn't super critical above maybe 40%... the supports are pretty beefy and the weight is held on the heftiest part of it.

I'd avoid printing with supports. Print it face down (slopes side facing up), and it should print fine without them, even with PETG.
