Description

I've made modifications to my existing Heart Egg design so you no longer need magnets!

Neat!

Printing Instructions: The 3mf files provided were created using Bambu Studio and should have the following settings configured.

  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Supports: Nope!

Scaling: One benefit to this design is the ability to scale the model according to your needs!

Keep in mind that, as you scale it down, that the gaps I designed into it will scale down with it making it more difficult to snap closed. HOWEVER, if you scale the top portion of the egg up slightly (VERY slightly) you can make the fitment work better.

Likewise, if you scale it up, it will make the snap feature more loose. If you scale the top part of the egg down slightly (VERY slighty) it will firm up the fitment.

If you choose to scale it, I advise that you use the slicer to cut up the model so the only things you print are the portions that connect together. That way you don't have to print the entire egg to test the fitment.

If you're not sure how to cut up your model in the slicer, there are YouTube videos out there that can help.

Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter.

For those who have joined my club at the “Obsessor” tier or have subscribed to my commercial membership on Patreon, prints of this model can be used for commercial purposes.
