Design

This remix of my Omlet Eglu Mk2 grids is coming with a number of changes / improvements:

• Three models predefined.
• Connectors have been integrated into the grid parts. This halves glueing points and results in a more rigid grid.
• The long legs have been separated to allow a different layer orientation.

Modular system that allows the creation of short and long grids. 

Three predefined grids:

1. Standard: grid covering roughly two thirds of the length and placed next to the chicken entry door; print all parts starting with “Standard”
2. Short: grid covering the rest; a combination of Standard and Short will cover the full length; print all parts starting with “Short”
3. Long: grid covering the full length; print all parts starting with “Long”

Print in PETG for durability. We used 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. Place parts upside down and turn support from build plate on. Place legs on either side.

2. Short: 22 EUR plus shipping
3. Long: 54 EUR plus shipping

Running a Prusa XL, we use a different set of STLs for our prints. As an example, the Standard version is made up from only two parts. These version is easier to assemble and super stable.

The kit delivered includes instructions for assembly.
