SV08 MAX TopHat For stock enclosure

This is a modular, hollow-design top hat for the Sovol SV08 MAX  that has the original Enclosure, built to integrate seamlessly with the original factory enclosure.
Unlike the stock front panel that relies on gravity alone, this design uses proper hardware for a secure and stable fit.

Each section is cut into 208–210 mm printable parts so you can produce the entire tophat on standard printers without splitting files further.

• 8x M3x6 ( original panel mounting screws) to mount the real panel to the tophat

⚙ Recommended Materials

• ABS / ASA → best choice for heated use
• PETG → good balance of strength & printability
• PLA → acceptable only if you don’t run chamber temps

🔧 Tuning for Fit (Shrinkage)
ABS shrinks. If your frame fit is off:

• Adjust XY compensation ±0.1 mm
• Scale XY by ±0.2–0.4%
• Sand groove faces lightly if needed

📦 Assembly (Quick Steps)

• Dry fit all ring sections for alignment
• Install heat-set inserts in joins & hinge points
• Join sections with M3×6/M3×8 screws
• Seat the ring on the frame groove – should sit flush
• Build lid with Ø6×3 mm N52 magnets + hinge hardware
• Test hinge action & magnet closure; adjust tension

Filament path is using Ecas04 on the middle Right side panel 

🖨 Print Settings

• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm (larger okay if walls adjusted)
• Walls: 3
• Top/Bottom: 5 / 5
• Infill: 10% gyroid
• Supports: none (except light supports for groove bridges if needed)
• Cooling: minimal for ABS/ASA; normal for PETG/PLA
• Brim: highly recommended for ABS/ASA
