Description
I designed this universal 1-3kg spool holder primarily for top feeding 3kg spools on the Prusa Core One and MK4 in the Prusa enclosure. That said it might be useful for many other printers and setups.
Print with PETG or better if using on top of an enclosure as PLA will soften and bend from the heat of the printer enclosure. I used PETG CF.
The model has internal geometry to add strength so printing with default profiles with 15% infill and 2 wall should work well, but feel free to increase infill and wall count if you want.
I added self adhesive rubber feet to help with grip so the spool holder doesn't slid around. There are recesses on the four corners of the feet for 21mm (0.8in) circular rubber feet. I used these Round Clear Adhesive Bumpers from Amazon.
