Looking for an easy, reliable, and budget-friendly way to connect multiple QIDI Boxes to your Plus 4?
Here’s the solution: the QIDI Plus 4 Multi-Adapter – designed for a clean setup, quick installation, and maximum flexibility.

🔄 Update V2.1 (September 2025)

📂 Loose Fit Files Added
Since the original STL files were designed with very tight tolerances, some printers or filament settings may struggle to achieve the correct fit.
To solve this, I’ve added an additional “Loose Fit V2” version in a separate folder.
The original files have been renamed to “Snug Fit”.

🛠 Optimized Support Settings
In both project files, the support settings for the base plate have been updated to make supports easier to remove after printing.

🔄 Update V2 (September 19, 2025)

🚀 Shorter & Smoother
The distance between the 4-in-1 adapter holder and the filament hub has been significantly reduced, resulting in shorter PTFE tubes with much lower friction for smoother filament feeding.

🛠 Angled Adapter Insertion
Adapters are now inserted at an angle, perfectly aligned with the four PTFE inlets of the filament hub → reduced resistance and cleaner filament paths.

⚡ Stronger & Lighter Design
The new layout makes the entire construction more stable and lighter, while keeping the modular design of Version 1.

🖨 Print-Friendly & Tool-Free

Adapter holder remains separate from the base plate, printable without supports.

Tool-free assembly and disassembly unchanged – the filament hub and adapter holder slide into place easily.

What You Need:

  • 2–4 Bambu 4-in-1 adapters (cheap on AliExpress)
  • 4 × PTFE tubes (ID 2 mm, OD 4 mm), 43 mm long (included with QIDI Box)
  • Small cable ties

✅ Upgrade Recommendation
Even if you are using Version 1, upgrading to Version 2 is highly recommended for better performance, smoother feeding, and a more compact, reliable setup.

No complicated mods, no drilling – just remove the 4 screws of your existing filament hub, attach the adapter plate, and you’re ready to go. Everything else simply slides together – no extra screws needed.

  • Four Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE adapters slot neatly into the cover, which in turn locks onto the base plate.
  • Your existing filament hub clicks straight into the provided mount.
  • PTFE tubes are kept perfectly aligned with a PTFE buckle → no tangling, no awkward angles.
  • Built-in cable tie mounts keep your wiring tidy.
  • Tool-free maintenance → pull apart in seconds if needed.

Download the ready-to-print 3MF file for QIDI Studio (maybe also compatible with OrcaSlicer). All settings are already optimized.

For manual setup:

  • 3 perimeters (2 perimeters for PTFE Tube Buckle)
  • 20% Gyroid Infill
  • Support: Normal (Auto), Snug enabled
  • PLA – Nozzle 210 °C, Bed 60 °C, textured PEI plate
