Description
This is a phone stand for the “Sunny Health & Fitness Indoor Exercise Stationary Bike", model SF-1001. This will attach directly to the top section of the handle bars.
Ender 3 V2
Not needed
Possibly not needed, but I used organic supports with the following settings:
I usually find the supports easy to remove. Supports will absolutely be needed if using connectors for smaller print beds.
I tend to use 0.28 layer heights, as this is not a detailed model, but lower layer heights would probably still work. The thicker layer heights also allow for extra strength.
15% - 40%
PLA+ and PETG have been tested. They all seem to perform well. I also tried printing in Nylon, but using Nylon may result in inaccurate dimensions and warping on the bed. I was unable to successfully print in Nylon. Consult the manufacturer to determine how much shrinkage occurs from Nylon, as well as ensuring whether a heated enclosure is needed. As always, ensure your filament is properly dried prior to printing as well as belts being properly tensioned, as stepper skipping can occur about 4.8mm - 6.4mm from the bottom of the model.
Orientation:
The file is already in the orientation needed (the bottom of the clamps should be flat on the bed). For my printer, I had to use a dovetail connector between the two parts. Ensure the dovetail does not overlap with the lip used for the phone holder (see below for example):
I use wider tolerances for my dovetail, but more accurate printers may achieve better tolerances. CA glue or other adhesives may be required in assembly.
