Premium Felt Coaster

Most 3D-printed coasters either ignore condensation as a problem, or try to contain condensation with trays or channels.  But that water can still spill … and it's not elegant.

This design solves the condensation problem and has a premium look and feel - by using thick felt inserts held securely in a supportive base.

Key features:

• Luxurious felt insert — thick, soft, and elegant, giving a premium feel.  It wicks the moisture away.
• Superior absorption — felt captures condensation instead of letting it pool.  They hold a LOT of water.
• No glass sticking — your drink will not lift this coaster.
• Fast-drying — the felt dries surprisingly well by itself, and ventilated honeycomb base promotes airflow.
• Washable and reusable — simply rinse under water to clean and shake out excess.
• Affordable refills — inexpensive felt discs are easy to replace (~70 cents each).
• Weighted shell — adds heft and keeps the coaster flat and stable.
• Press-fit design — angled retaining lip holds the felt securely.

The felt coasters alone are nice, but they are a little light and they are not flat. This base elevates them into something sturdy, elegant, and functional.
