Darth Vader's Lightsaber - Star Wars

Here is my new Darth Vader lightsaber design. This specific style is inspired by the 'Empire Strikes Back' version of the prop.

Use supports for the Lower Knob and Clamp Section.

There is a version of the upright grips with a tear-away support disc holding them together which worked well for me. 

Tips: For the part called Release Bar I enabled ironing to get a nice finish. For the Clamp Peg I had issues printing it upright so I turned it sideways and cut a little layer off the bottom for flat adhesion. 

For the Hilt Outer's cutouts I enabled ‘snug’ supports in prusaslicer. Might not need them but it depends on your overhang ability. 

The PLA filaments used were Ziro silk silver, Overture matte black (grips/shroud/inner hilt), and Eryone carbon black. The clear bubble strip and colors for the wires were from assorted sample filament packs. You could also use real wires instead for a more detailed look.
