Description
My Clamps are hooked on a double metallic door and every time I close the other door at least one clamp came down. After visiting other models I didn't find any that combine holding the clamp firmly on two axis with easy access. That why I designed these holders with a kind of flat spring and when possible a blockage in the horizontal direction.
These holders are fixed on a 50mm height and 70mm depth wood bar.
I used PLA. The hinges are .5mm thick, therefore fold it only once, multiple time will break them. The F Clamp have to be rotated in the slicer (my mistake) to sit correctly on the plate.
The fixation holes are for 3 mm screws with flat heads, except for the pipe (more heavy) I used 2 time 3.5mm on the vertical part.
Some holders (F Giant) have 2 hinges and need a short and a long screw.
The dimension for the gap size is about .5mm tolerance or one has to try :
-F Clamp : depth 95mm, gap 4 to 5 mm.
-F Clamp big : depth 120mm, gap 4 to 5 mm.
-F Clamp giant : depth 150mm, gap 6 to 7 mm.
-Quick Action Clamp : depth 95, gap 5mm.
-Quick Action Clamp Big : depth 120, gap 5mm.
-Pipe Clamp ; Depth 41x41mm, diameter 27mm.
The models have been created with OnShape and are therefore available for modification.
