Sinclair ZX Spectrum Storage Case/Box

Redesigned storage box with hinged lid for the original rubber key ZX Spectrum. Has space for all the cables and Horizon cassette tape. Keep your “precious” nice nice and safe. Also good to re-house from the original polystyrene box which can react with the PVC cables to cause a sticky mess (Plasticizer Migration)

The print requires a print bed of 250x250.

The lid is attached using filament, just push some through the hole, and it is kept shut with magnets (8mm x 3mm Neodymium). Just pop this in the holes provided.

I've added two lid designs, once is competely blank so you can either leave blank or add your own logos. The other has a cut-out for a rainbow badge. I've also add the rainbow badge design plus a simple ZX Spectrum logo.

I recommend printing with a brim to help prevent warping and also with supports if you print the top with the rainbox cut-out.

For print settings I use 0.2mm standard profile with 10% Adaptive Cubic infill and infill combination on. For the top I also increase the minimum sparse infill to 35mm2 so the hinge prints in one solid piece.
