High Capacity 1-3kg Spool Holder for Prusa Core One

Simple replacement spool holder for the Prusa Core One to allow for the use of high capacity spools up to 3kg. However, there is not a standard size for high capacity spools, so check the manufacture's website for spool dimensions and make sure they are within the max spool dimensions of this holder (listed below). Specifically made to support Polymaker 3kg spools and Prusament 2kg spools.

Maximum Spool Dimensions

The side cutouts on the Core One are not large enough to fit a spool with a diameter larger than ~250mm.

• Spool Diameter: 250mm
• Spool Width: 123mm

Printing Instructions

• Print with PETG or better for temperature resistance. The Core One enclosure can get warm enough to soften PLA. 
• Print in the orientation the file imports in. It is designed to print at a 45deg angle with NO supports.
• Designed with reinforcing internal geometry so default 2 walls and 15% infill should be plenty, but feel free to increase those if you want.
