Description
This tool storage is to keep all those supplied with the Core One kit in once place, and not cluttering up a drawer or getting lost somewhere.
My Core One lives on shelving with steel frame and plywood shelves. The teardrop shaped slots in the frame are spaced 36mm vertically, which seems common in this kind of garage furniture.
I've made it so that it hooks onto two vertically adjacent slots, and it can be held in place with just the one hook. You can also hook it on both sides of the inside of a corner for stability. It can also be mounted from either end or in the middle.
I experimented with printing the hooks at different orientations, but flat led to the least reworking. It does mean a small amount of support in those hooks however. The body prints without supports.
After printing, debur the hooks. Even a light sanding might help. They're provided here at 96% scale in depth and width to the slots in the body for some relief, but you'll still want to clean them up so they can slide in and then be removed if needed
I find hanging the hooks first then sliding the tool holder onto them is easier than having the hooks in place on the body first, but YMMV
