Drone GPS Mount QAV-S2 3in Joshua Bardwell Sub250 edition

for mounting GPS receiver on quadcopter drone on the nose over the FPV camera

FITS:

MATERIALS:

• TPU 95A
• (optional) M3x6 or M3x8 screws (4 each)

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:

• print in TPU 95A
• GPS will be imposable to insert if not printed in flexible filament 
• print flat
• 2 perimeters
• 15%infill
• can be printed with out supports but will result ugly bridging and a few loose strands
• recommend organic supports only on the bridge where the GPS is inserted

ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS:

• removing the GPS will be imposable from the mount with out cutting the TPU
• attach all wires to the GPS chip - mine came with the wires attached form the manufacturer
• GPS insertion slot is smaller then the GPS chip
• line up the GPS chip ceramic antenna facing up and pry up the bridge
• carefully slide in the GPS chip
• when fully inserted the top of the antenna should be flush with the TPU mount
• route the GPS wires forward and under the top plate above your FPV camera to your flight controller
• the stock screws that came with the frame kit will work consider replacing the original screws with M3x6 or M3x8 to regain thread engagement lost form the mount. the mount is 1.5mm thick where the screw holes are
