Description
This enclosure is made for the Speeduino 0.4.3C ECU board, with a MEGA 2560 MCU.
It also comes with a mounting plate, for Volvo 940 and perhaps 740 as well, in the same place as the stock LH 2.4 fuel ECU box reside. Fits behind the plastic cover.
Instead of a connector mounted on the enclosure, and having to do more soldering and crimping, I opted for using a Dupont 2x10 connector instead, that fits right into the IDC40 male connector that comes with most Speeduino of the shelf kits, like the one I bought from DIY-EFI.
Because of that, a easy way to route the cable and connector through the enclosue end cap was designed, with a accomponying strain relief housing as well.
The enclosure itself is a universal fit for any car or other application, the mounting plate is not. Only fits Volvo 940 and perhaps 740 as well.
