Description
Needed ‘My Little Pony’ characters for a campaign my partner wants to DM and these worked well. Except that I needed to make a base and fiddle with the files some. So here's my repost of this over a decade old post but with some needed additions.
First off we found Higher-Resolution Engineering-Quality Ponies and used it as a base for our TTRPG props. The split models came out the best looking even though you need to glue the parts together. That's fine as the base is also meant to be glued to the ponies.
Then I got to printing and found that 500% ponies are good for TTRPG as they come around 4cm in height and look good. Added a base since then the ponies are better suited for tabletop.
First I tried printing Lyra as a 'split' model and one standing up but thought the ‘split’ looked way better. That's the reason the base is not fused into the 3D-models. Also I printed mine with a crappy printer so I know a modern printer will have better results.
Luna and Celestia are larger so both needed their own bases and those are made with the 500% scale in mind. Scale the bases however you need for your own needs.
