Description
This is simply a thin cover for a 608 bearing with a slight V-slot profile on the outer edge. This can probably be used for many purposes where you use 608 bearings, but this was designed for use with the TUSH (The Ultimate Spool Holder) to better keep the spool rims centered so they wouldn't push apart the sides of the TUSH.
I had a problem when using some thin rimmed spools with the TUSH, where the spool rim could fall in between the TUSH side piece and the bearing pushing the bearing out a bit. This happened to me with a spool that has only 1.6 mm thin rims all the way to the edge and also having a rounded edge profile (newer Clas Ohlson branded spools made by Flashforge).
Just push it on a 608 bearing. It should be a good press fit, so you need to use a bit of force to push the bearing into this part. Tweak print settings if necessary to achieve better fit.
I also recommend this stabilizer part to keep the TUSH pieces together.
