5.9 Inch Air Conditioner Exhaust Hose Wall Adapter

This is a wall mount collar that fits a 5.9 inch exhaust hose for a portable air conditioning unit.

The base was designed to cover a 6.38 in (162 mm) diameter hole drilled in drywall. Most can-light hole saws are about this size. The screw holes are placed at a sufficient distance to prevent the drywall from cracking when inserting a dry wall anchor and screwing the collar on.

The base accepts a 6 inch diameter metal duct pipe. The duct pipe can protrude out of the wall up to 2 5/8 inches with the collar fitting over it. This makes cutting and maneuvering the duct pipe easier. It also ensures that the exhaust air flows through the duct pipe instead of around it.

The top of the collar accepts a 5.9 inch diameter exhaust hose for an air conditioning unit. The exhaust hose is attached by screwing it in with a counter-clockwise rotation.

The base of the collar just about maxes out the print bed area of an Ender 3/Pro, so smaller printers might not be able to print this out.

The actual duct pipe I modeled this for is the "Dundas Jafine BLH6WZW Louvered Vent Hood, 6", White".
