Description
This is a custom-designed faucet aerator key (sometimes called a cache or insert aerator wrench) specifically for unscrewing and replacing hidden faucet aerators that have no visible external edges.
This tool is compatible with common small-sized aerators, featuring two sizes.
Faucet Aerator Key Set: Contains two files (M22 and M24 versions). Essential 3D-printed tool for hidden aerator removal/cleaning.
Keep this handy tool under your sink for easy maintenance, allowing you to clean limescale buildup or replace a clogged aerator without damaging your faucet finish. It's a quick and simple print that everyone with a hidden faucet aerator should have!
Here are the recommended settings for a strong and durable tool:
| Setting | Recommendation | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Rafts | No | A skirt or brim is optional, but not strictly necessary. |
| Supports | No | The design is support-free. |
| Resolution/Layer Height | 0.2mm or 0.25mm | A standard layer height is fine, no need for ultra-fine detail. |
| Infill | 50% or more | A 50% infill provides good strength for applying torque while saving print time and filament compared to 100%. |
| Filament Material | PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA | PLA is fine for most uses, but PETG or ABS/ASA offers better durability and slightly better resistance. |
| Nozzle Size | 0.4mm (Standard) | Standard nozzle size works best. |
| Perimeters/Wall Loops | 3 or 4 | More perimeters contribute to strength, especially with lower infill, but 100% infill is preferred. |
