Description
This is a replacement part for the clasp on the Sunbeam 3852 Waffle Iron. I couldn't find a parts online so I reverse engineered it and 3d printed my own replacement. You can find the model number on the bottom of the iron.
Supports are needed. I used the default tree supports and they seem to work fine. I did have a part get knocked down somehow so I would probably slow down print speeds a bit. The part is printed vertically so there is a higher chance of it wobbling while printing.
I would print this in PETG or ABS/ASA for a bit of temperature resistance. The handle gets hot enough to warp PLA at times.
I also printed some TPU feet for my iron since I seem to have lost one foot. You might have to edit the tolerances on the STEP file since TPU tolerances can vary.
