Description

Just an extremely simple tool holder for the Core One.

Lots of people have already posted some really cool and complex tool holders for the Core One. But if I am honest, I really don't see a need for mounting half a toolbox worth of stuff I rarely use to my printer. It is just going to rattle unnecessarily when the printer runs and collect a lot of dust. When I thought about it, there are only really two tools that I actively use during normal operation: Filament cutter and a bed scraper.

I also really didn't want to have to take apart and replace screws to mount it. Nor did I want to have to bother with magnets etc. Instead I made a simple little hook that fits through the small square panel gaps in the top corners of the printer. That way it is simple to print, secure enough to stay on and still easy to remove if needed.

Printing:

I printed mine in PETG, but any filament will do.

Print the hook laying flat and the "cutterholder" standing so the internal arched part is up(opposite of the default orientation).

No support needed, but you might need a brim if bed adhesion is low.

Assembly:

Depending on printing tolerances, you might be able to simply press the “cutterholder” onto the “hook”. But I added a drop of glue just to be safe.

Mounting:

When I designed this, I simply measured the panel gap I wanted mine to hang from. But I have since compared that to the holes on the other 3 corners and they don't seem exactly the same size. So that might be a thing that varies from machine to machine, and you might need to sand/whittle the width of the hook down a little to fit your machine. I decided it was better it was a little too large and needed a bit of sanding/cutting for some, than it was loose and rattling for everyone.
