Have a look at my other design for the Trackit!

This design is based on the Cigman CM-G02 crossline-laser. The step-files can be remixed for other lasers.
The laser indicates roughly the tracking FOV of the Trackit and therefore makes it easier to setup the tracker for multiple scans. I initially designed a unit consisting of multiple single-line lasers but the lasers weren't strong enough.
With a snapped on aperture the lasers are limited to the FOV of the tracker to allow immediate feedback of positioning. Mounting to the tracker is realised with a mounting-plate which secures to the laser with a 1/4 camera-screw and slides on the Swiss-Plate of the tracker.
Mount and aperture are independent prints and are both friction-fit. Therefore you may need to adapt the step-files for best fit with your printer, especially for the Swiss-Plate mount.
The aperture is designed to limit the laser-lines to 3200mm*2800mm at 4m distance (as per tracker spec).
For the aperture it may be beneficial to use a 0,2mm nozzle to get a more detailed print.
