Ford Mondeo / Smax / Galaxy / Focus Tweeter Adapter

I previously designed and published adapters for aftermarket 6.5" speakers to fit my car.

With the addition of crossovers, the factory tweeters also needed some attention—but I wanted to keep the stock look. I picked up a spare set of factory tweeter housings and began designing an adapter that would let my Alpine tweeters fit seamlessly behind the original Ford grills.

Looking at the adapters supplied by Alpine, I noticed they rely on a friction fit. I decided to follow the same approach and designed a clip-in solution that locks into the existing points on the grill.
