Don't land on your motor bolts!
- For some reason the Roma L5, as great as it is, doesn't come with any bottom landing solution other thanerasing your motor bolts.
- I designed form-fitting bolt-on landing feet that are also arm protection. Took dozens of design iterations over many days to get perfect. They work great!
Which parts are which?
- L5 landing skid foot - 1.6mmWall_std.stl is the version I use. Nice balance of durability and weight.
- L5 landing skid foot - 2.2mmWall_std.stl is the beefier version I know y'all will want with thicker walls for more arm protection.
- gps mount - L5 gps 18.4mm_20deg.stl is my design for the GPS mount
- Antenna - 20mm_L5 Vista.stl mounts the original vista antenna at the perfect distance for max antenna height. Yes, this antenna isn't crazy long but it'llactually fit in your bag!
Print it:
Print in TPU, no support needed. The STL file is pre-oriented for printing.
