Description
This model allows increased stering angle, like the previous model, but has sturdier geometry. It includes new steering post stays which use 19808016 steering posts, which reduce play in the steering system. The steering arms are now 1mm thicker, so the original B3 parts cannot be used anymore. Additionaly, there's a 1mm thick insert under the steering arm, so the steering bridge sots 2mm higher to clear the chassis with increased angle. This requres to lift the pivot balls on the knuckles by the same amount to keep correct geometry without bump steer.
The steering post mod can be used with the stock steering aswell, as an alternative to Tamiya 54193 option part, but requires extra shimming, as these posts are 2mm higher than Tamiya original solution.
