1U 10" Cable Pass-Through

This 3D-printed panel is designed for 10-inch racks (1U height) and provides a simple yet effective cable pass-through solution.

Instead of the commonly used brush strips, this design uses two horizontal rods (mounted above and below the opening). Between these rods, standard elastic bands can be installed, creating a flexible barrier for cables.

Advantages:

• Easy to source materials – elastic bands are widely available, unlike special brush inserts.
• Flexible cable management – cables can pass through while still being held in place.
• Cost-effective – no need to purchase custom rack accessories.
• Customizable – number and tension of elastic bands can be adjusted as needed.

Printing recommendation:

Panel: PLA is sufficient for stable and precise printing. 

Rods: PETG is recommended for higher strength and flexibility, reducing the risk of breakage.
