Description
Creepy 3D spider for Halloween! 🕸
In this improved Version 2, the body and legs are printed separately and then assembled.
Additionally, the cross on the spider’s back is available as a separate piece – perfect for multi-color printing or custom painting.
There are two variations of Version 2:
Version 2a (Hanging): legs are positioned to make the spider look like it is hanging down.
Version 2b (Crawling): legs are positioned so the spider looks like it is crawling on the ground.
👉 The body is the same for both versions – you only choose the legs (A = hanging, B = crawling) depending on how you want your spider to look.
👉 Not only the cross, but also the legs can be printed in different colors for even more customization.
👉 You can either hang the spider as a spooky decoration or place it crawling on a surface – completely up to you.
👉 The finished spider (with legs) is about 16 cm long and 14 cm wide.
Improvements compared to Version 1:
Legs are separate parts → stronger print & easier support removal
Optional separate cross → allows multi-color printing or easier painting
Two different looks: hanging (2a) or crawling (2b)
Legs are numbered for easier assembly:
When viewed from above, leg 1 starts at the top left and numbering continues counterclockwise (4 legs for the left side).
For the right side, simply mirror the legs in your slicer.
Legs and the optional cross can be glued to the body with superglue
Tested scaling: slicing and printing at 200% scale worked without any issues
More flexibility for assembly and post-processing
Printing Notes:
Supports required (for body & legs)
For best results, make sure to place each part flat and as optimal as possible on the print bed before slicing
Printing works well with PLA or PETG
Recommended Print Settings:
Layer height: 0.15 – 0.2 mm
Infill: 15–20%

Perfect as a spooky decoration for Halloween parties or to surprise your friends! 🎃🕷
