I always have trouble assessing how far I have already turned the thumbscrew on the Bondtech Extruder. This small cap shows this quite clearly and you can better estimate quarter, half and full turns ;-)
Version 2.0 (2024-06-14):
- V2 has been completely redesigned and is available in four styles: Knurled, Lined, Lined Diagonal and Simple. It should be a tight fit so that the knob turns and not just the cover. The diameter tolerances are 0.05 to 0.20 millimeters. For me, 0.10 is best, but feel free to try from small to large. You can also try to print several scaled sizes (X and Y, not Z). The covers have minimal "pegs" on the inside so that they offer good grip and the tolerances do not have to be 100% correct.
Version 1.0 (2022-03-01):
- Basically a remix of the “Two part knurled/helical knob for Prusa MK3S”, since it was easy to customize and print. Fits perfectly for me. Printing takes only 4 minutes, so you can also print several scaled sizes (X and Y, not Z) in one print - for example 100%, 101%, 102% and 103%. Looks best in PRUSA Orange PETG. ;-)
