Storage Reel for CPAP Hose Cleaning Brush

The cleaning brush for CPAP hoses can be unwieldy and out of control, flinging itself around like some out of control snake. This storage reel was built to allow easy storage in a compact space.

To wrap the brush onto the reel, start with the handle (non-brush) end so that the brush end is last to be wrapped. Then, when it’s time to clean your hose, you can uncoil a short length of the cleaning brush and start inserting the brush into the hose (rather than unwrapping brush entirely and then having to handle both the hose and the entire length of the brush simultaneously). This feature is also handy if you only need a short length of the brush to clean something.

Two versions are available to download:

• With Posts: I thought the posts would help to retain the brush cable but I don’t think they’re needed.
• Without Posts: I think this design should be fine for most uses.

Printer settings: Filament = PLA, Perimeters = 6, Fill density 30%, Fill pattern Gyroid, Support = Everywhere, Overhang threshold = 5, Style = Snug
