Description
With this minimalist Micro SD card container, you can attach five Micro SD cards to your keychain in a very small space and keep them with you at all times.
I printed the prototype for this model with a 0.25 nozzle and simple PLA. I've been using it on my keychain for over a year now, without it ever being damaged or an SD card falling out. With almost daily use, I haven't noticed any significant wear on the functional components of the Micro SD cards. Only the part of the card that protrudes slightly at the top is wearing out, but so far, this hasn't affected the function of the SD card. That's why I've decided not to build a lid. If you'd like one, let me know in the comments. I'll build one soon.
To further enhance my EDC setup, I had it printed in stainless steel by AM Pioneers (https://am-pioneers.com). The result is perfect and a truly unique piece on my keychain.
For printing, I recommend a 0.25 nozzle. If you use a 0.4 nozzle, you may need to adjust it a bit. Don't force the Micro SD card in, or you might not be able to get it out. The card should slide in easily but shouldn't fall out even when tapped or shaken.
