Description
I designed this adapter to combine two great products: the IKEA Tisken hook and the Philips Hue Go lamp.
With this adapter, you can now mount your Hue Go almost anywhere — bathroom tiles, walls, glass, or any smooth surface compatible with the Tisken hook.
The adapter adds a ball-joint-style ring mount to the Hue Go.
Because the Hue Go has a spherical shape, the ring acts as a ball socket, letting you tilt and angle the light in any direction. This transforms the lamp from a simple tabletop light into a versatile directional light source that can be placed almost anywhere.
Additionally, since the IKEA Tisken hook can rotate, you can fine-tune the angle even more for perfect lighting orientation.
The print consists of two parts:
(B.3) The Tisken adapter – connects directly to the IKEA Tisken hook.
(B.4) The Hue Go ring – holds the Philips Hue Go securely while allowing smooth movement.
Both parts slide together to create a stable, snug connection.
For extra stability, you can optionally use a 30 mm wood screw, though it’s not required.
Supports: Not required
Orientation: Flat on the build plate
Material: PLA or PETG recommended
Parts:
Tisken adapter (B.3)
Hue Go ring (B.4)
Print both parts.
Slide the Tisken adapter (B.3) into the Hue Go ring (B.4) — they interlock securely.
(Optional) Add a 30 mm wood screw for additional support.
Mount the assembly onto your IKEA Tisken hook.
Place your Hue Go into the ring and adjust the angle as desired.
The spherical shape of the Hue Go works perfectly with the ring, acting like a ball-and-socket joint.
No supports needed — both parts are optimized for easy printing and clean fit.
Perfect for adding flexible ambient lighting in bathrooms, kitchens, or workspaces.I designed this adapter to combine two great products: the IKEA Tisken hook and the Philips Hue Go lamp.
