Description
Storage for print sheets and a drawer for your other miscellaneous accessories, which fits inside an IKEA Kallax series shelf.
There are 3 slots for print sheets, though each one can fit more than one sheet if needed. Drawer is large enough for the most common tools and accessories, such as included tools, extra screws and bits, IPA spray bottle and cloth etc.
Designed for Prusa print sheets for: CORE ONE, MK4, MK3/S/+, MK2.5/S, with the size of 254x242mm.
If you are using a printer which uses another size of sheets that is close to this size, you might be able to just scale the width of the drawer and/or length of the rails accordingly.
Printing:
Everything is designed to be printed on the print sheets which it stores. Just turn them 45 degrees.
Rail A and C prints lying flat without support. Rail B needs support under the drawer rail(scrape it clean with a small screwdriver afterwards). The drawer probably comes out best with support for the handle hold underneath.
Assembly:
I have personally installed mine with just some strong double-sided tape, however each part has included screw holes for small countersunk screws. If going purely for double-sided tape, make sure to put plenty on Rail B due to the low foot size. Put the tape on the sides of Rail A and C for the best grip.
I recommend you mount Rail C first. Then tape a couple strips of paper or similar onto the slides of the drawer and use the drawer as a distance measurement for placing Rail B. Pull out the drawer, remove the paper and the drawer should now run smoothly. Mount rail A with a similar distance from the front as the other rails.
*Ignore the broken drawer corner. I dropped it JUST before taking the pictures :P
