Samsung Refrigerator Mullion Flap Top Hinge Repair Clip

The small top hinge tab on the Samsung refrigerator mullion flap (the flipper that seals between the two French doors) often breaks over time, leaving the flap loose or unable to open and close properly.

This 3D-printed replacement piece slides over the top of the flap and recreates the small hinge nub that engages with the door frame. It restores normal operation of the flap and helps maintain a proper door seal.

Fits: Most Samsung French-door fridges with a two-door top section (models with a spring-loaded mullion flap on the left door)

Material recommended: PETG or ABS (resists temperature changes better than PLA)

Layer height: 0.2 mm

Infill: 40–60% for durability

I designed this after the top hinge on my fridge broke, and rather than replace the entire flap or door, I modeled a simple clip that presses in place and restores movement. It’s not an OEM part, just a practical fix that’s been working great.
