243 ammo box

The box in these images was printed in eSun black and yellow PETG, the inserts in Prusament PETG (one chalky blue and the other pistachio green) and the optional seal was eSun grey TPU95. I printed using fuzzy skin which extends the print time hugely, but I do like the result. 

The fuzzy skin settings I used were  0.2/0.2mm on the box & latches, with 0.3/0.3mm on the lid. I painted it on the outside only, excluding the surfaces that face latches or hinges. I used a textured build plate which made it look like the effect continued to the top and bottom

Print the insert without fuzzy skin for best fit. The insert has a bottom, so it can be removed with contents in place.

Assembly requires 6x 30mm M3 screws for latches and hinges. I used black hex M3 screws for these.

Prints without supports. Latches may be best printed with 5mm brim for adhesion reliability
