Description
This modular hydroponic tower trellis system adds strong, adaptable climbing support to round vertical towers.
Originally designed for an 8-inch hydroponic pepper tower, the system can easily adapt to other tower sizes or even flat surfaces. It uses 1/4" PEX tubing for both horizontal and vertical supports, forming a clean, rigid framework ideal for supporting climbing plants such as peppers, beans, or cucumbers.
The full system consists of Four core printed parts, and 3 accessory parts:
Support Bracket – Mounts to the tower using #8 bolts.
Mid Clamp– Joins horizontal and vertical PEX sections, forming a secure “sandwich” with the support bracket.
Top Clamp – Finishes the frame neatly and can be remixed to hold accessories or additional attachments.
The brackets clamp together around the PEX tubing using #4 hardware, locking everything solidly in place.
Top Connector - Joins the upright supports into a clean rounded top perfect for draping plastic on in the colder months!
Label Holder - Clamps to uprights, allows for 2 label tags to be added. Clamp using the Label Holder Back
Label Tag - Black label add text and print with a pause or a multicolor printer
Cut sections of ¼" PEX from standard store lengths.
Mount the support brackets evenly around the tower using #8 screws.
Insert the horizontal PEX pieces into the clamps and align the vertical sections.
Add the end caps or remixable top attachments as desired.
Once assembled, the trellis forms a rigid structure around the tower that can handle heavy fruiting plants outdoors.
Material: PLA (recommended), PETG or ASA for longer outdoor lifespan.
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 30–40% for strength

Supports: Not required
Orientation: Print brackets flat on the bed for best strength and dimensional accuracy
Designed with remixing in mind!
The end caps can be modified to hold drip lines, sensors, or plant tags.
