Variable Size Filament Roller

I designed this for the 1.5 and 2 kg rolls I use. Also works for smaller rolls, offcourse. 

You need to print 2 x “Roll” and 2 x “Side”.

The rolls are best printed upright (vertical axis) and need a small support in the lower bearing pocket. Also, a brim might be reasonable to improve bed adhesion. 

4 Skateboard/Inline Skate bearings (DIN 625-1 608, d=8/D=22/w=8) are pressed into the 2 bearing pockets of each roll.

2 M8 threaded rods with a length of 215 mm connect the sides and support the rolls.

8 M8 Hex Nuts secure the rods and everything else.

The Filament Roller can be fixed in place using Ø5 mm countersunk screws.
