Garage Shield for Genie pre 2012

If you don't know how easy it is to open a garage door with a typical garage door opener you need to google it. This shield only works on older Genie doors so look at the stl and Fusion360 drawings to make sure it's suitable for your garage door cariage. Print it out of whatever you want and at least take the handle off of the rope hanging down. I have a short little piece of wire hanging down, on my daughter I just removed the cord all together and hung a little wire loop next to the door.

A common fix is to just use a tie strap but any good thief could make a loop in his coat hanger and pull it open.
