Ergonomic handles for thread cutters

If you’ve ever used those cheap metal thread cutters, you know how handy they are — but also how uncomfortable they can be when cutting tougher materials.
 

These ergonomic handles are designed to slip onto standard thread cutters (like the ones shown in the picture) from the front. They instantly improve comfort and control, especially when cutting thicker fabrics, Kedar tape, or multiple layers of material. 

You will need to print two handles.

The finished handles are curved for better ergonomics, which reduces build plate contact. Consider enabling a brim for adhesion (it’ll need to be removed afterward). I’ve printed many without one on a clean plate, but YMMV.

In my testing, PLA works perfectly well for the forces involved when printed with 60–100% infill.
