z-offset calibration pad

after leveling my platform, I was still struggling with some settings.  I made a small calibration pad that can be used for the z offset or further leveling.

Set layer height -

first layer - 0.1mm

layer height - 0.1mm

print without a raft or brim.  This will give you an idea of where to set your z-offset with a quick print.  

when you can clearly see a well printed layer, you will can adjust the z-offset to the value associated with the layer
