Description
Update to my dual box setup. Now all four Fosi V3 Mono amps are housed in the same box.
Why four amps? I use a digital crossover of my DIY speakers (CamillaDSP).
In my setup, I use two “audiophile-grade” Noctua NF-A12x25 5V PWM fan, controlled by a Raspberry Pi to run at 50% speed only when music is playing. However, any standard 120mm x 25mm fans with speed control should work just fine. At this speed, the fan adds only ~2dB over ambient noise, inaudible from the listening position. When the fan is off, the design still allows for sufficient passive convection cooling to keep the amps operating within a safe temperature range.
Hardware Needed:
Eight M4x30 screws (for fan)
Two Noctua NF-A12x25 5V PWM or other 120mm x 25mm fan with speed controller.
Printing Details:
Printed in PLA using a Bambu X1C. No supports needed.
