Dewalt Battery to Bauer Tool Adapter

UPDATE: 12/27/25 As i aquire more bauer tools i am continuing to tweak the model so that the adapter fits every tools universally. i dont own any bauer batteries so i tweak it as i go. i just updated the latest version of the model. so if you're having fitment issues, please let me know. but make sure you have the latest version downloaded to ensure universal fitment.

This adapter seemlessly adapts Dewalt batteries to the very affordable Harbor frieght tool brand Bauer tools. if youre like me, i have a bunch of dewalt tools and batteries but i am tired of paying premium prices for any cordless tool i want or need. Example, i needed a cordless angle grinder but the name brand tools are hundreds of dollars. so i bought this bauer cordless angle grinder for 35$ on sale at harbor freight and have been using it for almost a year in my garage with a PLA printed adapter i designed. all you need is this Bill Of materials. I'll list amazon links as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE- The 10k Ohm resistor is completely necessary for it to work.

BOM:

3x Flag style crimp female connectors 

2x Male crimp connectors

1x 10k Ohm resistor

1x .8mm , 10mm OD, 15mm length spring

3x M4 heatset inserts

2x 12mm M4 Button head screws

1x 20mm M4 Button head screw

filament of your choice (only printed it in PLA so far)

hot glue

2 part 5min epoxy

14 or 16 awg wire (12 awg is too big and stiff)

(Optional- butt crimp connecters x2 makes wiring and joining the two halves easier)

Inside the adapter you crimp the 10kohm resistor to one female flag crimp connector cut down to almost a third that goes on the middle connecter. Then connect it to the female crimp connector with the negative wire crimped in it as well for the negative terminal on the tool side. The Positive terminal on the tool side will get crimped directly to the postive terminal on the battery side.

3 perimeter walls for strength 

15%-20% Gyroid infill

3 bottom and top Layers
